Welcome to Docera's Project Hub!

• All projects require completion of a corresponding educational module from our curriculum and a passing score on the associated assessment before students are eligible to participate. Please review the “Requirements” column inside the project hub carefully prior to signing up.

• To express interest in a project, complete the Project Sign Up form linked to the right. Submission of this form notifies the Docera team that you would like to be considered for a project.

• Project requests are reviewed by our team prior to approval. Please do not start working on your project until you get an email from a Docera team member confirming your request was approved. Physician editors are assigned only after eligibility and project availability have been confirmed.

• Once assigned, students will work asynchronously with a physician editor who will provide individualized feedback, revisions, and guidance throughout the development process.

• Students should complete all written work within a shared Google Doc or Google Slides. Once a first draft is complete, please allow editing access to anyone with the link. This prevents any editing delays from our team. Then submit the Google Doc link through the First Draft Submission Form for physician review.​

• Depending on the scope and quality of the project, students may complete one or multiple rounds of revision prior to submission for publication consideration or presentation at the Emerging Physicians Conference.

• Publication, conference presentation, and other scholarly recognition are merit-based and are not guaranteed. All work must meet appropriate standards for scientific accuracy, professionalism, and quality prior to submission.​​
