ENROLLING FOR SUMMER 2026

Medical Intensive Program

2-week live physician-led bootcamp for future doctors

August 3rd to 13th via Zoom

Docera's Medical Intensive Program is a 2-week live experience where students learn how physicians think through real clinical cases and complete medical projects. Through nightly physician-led sessions, students move beyond basic science into the world of clinical reasoning.

Students also gain access to Docera's Project Hub, where they develop medical projects with physician guidance. They can submit projects for publication or presentation.

An immersion into the world of medicine.

What you'll gain from this program:

Think Like a Physician

Learn how doctors approach symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment decisions through real clinical cases.

1

Understand Medical Science

Learn pathophysiology of 100+ diseases and other clinical content typically reserved for medical school. Learn how diseases actually present in patients, how physicians think through diagnosis, and how treatment decisions are made in real clinical practice.

2

Publish & Present Medical Projects

Develop medical articles, infographics, and presentations. Submit for publication in medical magazines or presentation at the Emerging Physicians Conference.

3

Interact with physicians

Engage with practicing physicians who guide discussions, answer questions in real time, and provide feedback on student projects and clinical reasoning.

4

Project opportunities

Each module builds medical understanding that you can apply directly to publishable projects. The projects our students complete are things like writing medical articles, making medial infographics, or creating medical presentations. For example, students will learn about sickle cell disease in our hematology module then may choose to research emerging genetic modulation treatments for sickle cell disease. They will use their knowledge from the program to synthesize medical research articles and complete their own project about the topic with feedback from a physician on their work.

Example projects

Dissemination & Recognition

Students are encouraged to share their work through opportunities such as:

While publication and presentation opportunities are available, they are not guaranteed and are dependent on project quality and acceptance criteria.

Join with a Friend

Many students find Docera's program even more engaging when learning alongside peers who share similar academic interests and goals in medicine. Students who enroll in the Intensive Program with a friend may each receive $100 off tuition.

Students also have opportunities to collaborate on medical projects together throughout the program, allowing them to discuss ideas, strengthen communication skills, and engage more deeply with medical topics alongside motivated peers.

To qualify, both students must enroll in the Medical Intensive Program. After enrollment, please email info@docera.net with your friend’s name, and a $100 refund will be processed for both students following enrollment verification.
