Our students are getting published! 🩺

One of the most exciting parts of Docera is seeing students take what they’re learning and turn it into something tangible.

Through partner blogs like the Medical Literacy Initiative and Brainwire, Docera students have the opportunity to research medical topics that interest them, work through the writing and editorial process, and publish educational articles for a broader audience.

We’re excited to share two of our newest student publications:

🫀 Acute Coronary Syndrome: Clinical Recognition, Diagnostic Evaluation, and Emergency Cardiac Management

Written by Rupsha Sarkar & edited by Yasmina Sirgi, MD

🧠 Ischemic vs. Hemorrhagic Stroke: Comparing Mechanisms, Neuroimaging Findings, and Acute Management

Written by Sai Sahana Diwakar & edited by Elizabeth Kiraly, MD

These articles represent exactly what we hope students gain from Docera: the opportunity to go beyond memorizing medical facts and begin thinking, researching, and communicating like future healthcare professionals.

These are just two examples of the work our students are creating.

If you’re a high school or college student interested in medicine, you can do this too. Through Docera, you can deepen your medical knowledge, develop meaningful projects, and build experiences you are proud of.
